Sammamish Valley Summer Picnic & Celebration, 2024

SAMMAMISH VALLEY SUMMER PICNIC AND CELEBRATION

Pack a picnic and join us at 21 Acres for lots of fun in the beautiful Sammamish Valley for the Summer Picnic and Celebration, Saturday, July 20th, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., in Woodinville. Come enjoy a day on the farm – it’s free for all ages – play yard games, take a tour and shop from our artisan craft vendors. Special highlight of the day is the anticipated return of John the Falconer and His Birds of Prey.

Support our farmers and purchase your fresh picnic items from your local farm market, farm store or farm stand. Summer brings a bounty of fruit and produce; your picnic basket will showcase the summer harvest with the colors of the season! Our farm partners strive to bring Sammamish Valley neighbors and friends the knowledge and resources to discover where, and how, food is grown and the agricultural connection to our community.

Here’s the schedule for the day:

  • 1:00 p.m.: Green Building Tour
  • 2:00 p.m.: Farm and Garden Tour
  • 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.: Artisan Craft Vendors
  • 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.: John the Falconer and His Birds of Prey

Visit the 21 Acres Market through July 13th and be entered to win a Picnic Basket loaded with farm fresh goodies to enjoy at the event. Winner will be announced on Wednesday, July 17th, for pick up the day of the event, July 20th.  Click here for info and Market hours.

21 Acres is located at 13701 NE 171st St., Woodinville WA  98072. The Summer Picnic is presented by Sammamish Valley Alliance, 21 Acres, and Sammamish Valley Grange. Support comes from the King County Department of Local Services-Community Service Areas Program, their Alan M. Painter Community Engagement Grant and Olympic Nursery.
